SharePoint Developer, Intermediate (Able to Obtain Public Trust)

Location: Northern VA

Role: SharePoint Developer

Must Haves:

  • US Citizen & able to pass DHS Public Trust background investigation
  • 2 years of strong SharePoint 2010/2013 experience;
  • 2 years overall technical experience in field SharePoint migration experience (2010 to 2016 preferred) 
  • Experience with Office 365 API
  • Experience with REST API to interact with SharePoint data
  • Strong experience integrating HTML5/CSS3 elements with SharePoint
  • Expertise in JavaScript, JQuery, JQuery DOM traversal techniques, SharePoint Content Query Web Part, and XSLT, or other related front-end coding background emphasis
  • Strong skills designing solutions using OOTB SharePoint functionality
  • Deep understanding of SharePoint 2010 architecture (farm, web app, site collection, site)
  • Experience with responsive web design
  • Familiarity with Agile project management techniques
  • Local to Washington DC Metro area

Plus: 

  • SharePoint 2016 and/or SharePoint Online experience
  • Developing with SharePoint Designer (2010/2013)
  • Proficient in being able to extend and customize SharePoint Online
  • Knowledge of Section 508 requirements for Federal web sites- experience in the federal space
  • Responsibilities: 
  • This resource will be a senior SharePoint developer role supporting a federal intranet website’s transition to SharePoint Online (Office 365)
  • Play a key role on a small development team and participate in project transition including team project planning, refactoring custom SharePoint 2010 codeRe-solutioning aspects of website that cannot be re-cast into a SharePoint Online contextwork with customers to familiarize them with SharePoint Online
  • Conduct cross-browser and quality assurance testingDrafting trainingSDLC documentation
