How to use Snapchat Filters in Microsoft Teams Meeting

Want to have a bit of ‘fun’ in your Microsoft Teams meetings?

Do you want to use Snapchat filters so that you can add funny hats and different heads?

If you are working in an education environment where kids need to appear on camera, it’s nice to have ways to make it fun for them. You may also have some people who are a little camera shy, so this is a nice way to get them used to sharing their camera.

This process is really easy and also free ????

I show you in the video how to set this all up, but you here are the steps:

Step 1: Download Snap Camera

Download Snap Camera

First step is to download and install Snap Camera.

Step 2: Configure Snap Camera

SnapFilter

Once Snap Camera is downloaded open it and click the cog at the top right of the application. Under ‘Choose your camera’ go ahead and select your camera.

Note: If your camera is already in use by another application you will need to clost the other application.

Now go back to the previous screen, look at your camera and choose a filter.

Step 3: Set Teams up to use the Snapcamera

Once you’ve done this the virtual Snap Camera should now appear as a normal camera on your machine. This means you can now go into Teams and set your camera to use Snap Camera.

You can do this on a per meeting basis by clicking the 3 dots and choosing your camera or by clicking below your Teams profile (top right) and choosing “devices”.
